We are off to a great start

It has been less than two weeks since you helped me officially kick off my campaign for State Assembly, and we are off to a great start!

So many of you joined me at the kickoff: over 250 supporters, 20 elected officials, and over 50 students. Thank you for making the event a huge success.

I am also proud to report that together we have already raised over $100,000, an incredible show of support this early in the campaign. While it is going to take more than that to beat "politics as usual" next June and November, I am humbled by the overwhelming level of confidence and enthusiasm you have already demonstrated.

Once again, thank you for being part of our grassroots effort to ensure that California's future remains bright. I know that with your support, we will succeed.
